Tenova Goodfellow has developed a new gas
velocity sensor that is able to continuously measure the velocity of a hot and
dusty gas stream.
This system can accurately measure the
velocity of gases that are in excess of 600 degrees C. Other methods of
velocity measurement will not survive in such harsh environments.
